It's an attitude, a gear you can switch into that can help reset your autonomic nervous system and prevent all sorts of fuckery. It's the goal I aim for when I journal.

This is what I usually refer to as mindfulness, but semantics aside, it is such a valuable perspective! When one can detach themself from identifying with their reality, there is so much insight to discover. About yourself, about the world, about specific situations. Many people never get that far and remain wrapped in their ego-driven perspectives.
